My research focuses on understanding the relationship between physical and chemical conditions of groundwater. As patterns of groundwater flow change due to changes in hydrologic conditions, salinity, or aquifer properties, subsequent alterations in geochemical conditions occur. However, these geochemical shifts may not always be synchronous with physical shifts in groundwater flow. Currently, I examine the spatiotemporal dynamics of this relationship in coastal settings, but look forward to inquiring this relationship in various regions of dynamic flow.
